How to Pay Your Ticket

Please be advised if you wish to enter a Plea of Guilty to the violation without appearing in Court, you may do so by paying with cash, money order, debit or credit cards.

To send payment with a money order:

  1. Sign your name on the reverse side of your Summons to indicate you Admit the violation.
  2. Pay with Purchase a money order for the TOTAL amount listed below and make it payable to “Franklin City Court”. (NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED!)
  3. Mail your Summons, the money order, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Franklin City Court, 1 Caisson Drive, Franklin, IN 46131

To pay in person with cash, a money order, or a debit or credit card:

  • Pay your Fine & Cost to the Clerk of this Court Tuesday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. or Monday from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (the office is closed daily for lunch from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.).

To pay online with a debit or credit card:

The Court’s telephone number is 317-736-3619. If you plan to call to inquire about a traffic violation or other information relating to a traffic ticket and have not had the ticket for at least two weeks, please wait and call back at that time.

The Traffic Deferral Program is the Prosecutor’s program and therefore any questions regarding this program should be directed to telephone number 317-346-4525.

The total fine and cost due is only valid if you are paying your ticket without appearing in Court. Should you choose to appear, the Judge may assess any penalty allowed by law. If the amount is missing above, you must contact the Court during regular business hours.

Should you wish to Deny the violation you must appear on your Court date.
